The Duathlon Distance is as follows (For individual division and relay divisions):
*3.1 mile run, 18 mile bike, 2.5 mile run*
*All Male, All Female, and Mixed Duathlon Relays*
*Individual 5K run*
-Relays consist of two person teams only: 1 x runner for both runs and 1 x cyclist for the bike portion
-Relays will exchange in transition area and follow the exact same course as the individual duathlon
participants.
This year's race will be on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 7:30 a.m.
We are expecting a large turnout in our 3rd year of the event, so please register early, check the website often, and contact us with any questions / concerns.

Great pre-season "tune-up"....for the seasoned veteran or first time athlete.
~The bike course is very hilly and challenging, with heart pounding climbs and fast downhills.
~The 5K / opening run has some rollers and an uphill finish.
~The 2nd run is an out and back loop, which finishes at the High School.
Awards and post race "feed" will be in heated school, where bathrooms will be available during race day.

Pre-race packet pickup: Friday March 15, 2013 @ The YMCA of Carroll County, from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Race day packet pick-up available 6:15 to 7:15 a.m.

*Relays are 2 person teams: mixed(1 male and 1 female), all male, or all female.
*Bike prime will only go to an individual who completes the full duathlon (there will be male and female bike primes).
